ith a little over 7,000 people, Kit Carson County is a quiet, cozy community. It is located on the eastern plains of Colorado. This county has lots of open space and the best sunsets you can imagine. It is really the best of both worlds. Located off the interstate on the Eastern border of Colorado, we can easily access the front range in 2 hours, but we can enjoy the peace and quiet of small town life. Great restaurants and hotels are definitely one of the perks about Burlington. But one of my favorite things Burlington has to offer is Parmer Park. Parmer Park is a $2 million park built by the local Rotary Club. It includes outdoor workout equipment, a walking trail, play area, water park, picnic areas, outdoor theater and more.
